pete
What's the skinny with the EC-10? Anyone own one, played one or know someone who may have owned, played, saw or heard tale of one? Any insight on tone, reliability? Here's what I've learned in my search for information.. (I don't profess that any of this is actually accurate by the way, since I culled it all from the web)... they were built with the intention of being a stage guitar, they are a relatively thin body for an acoustic, they have an arched back rather than bracing to reduce weight, they have a three piece neck (maybe this is standard on a Gibson? I don't know),available in blue, green, red or black. Production was limited to 1997-1998. That's about all I know...oh and I bought one.
retrosurfer1959
Mid price Gibson from 97 didn't sell very well I had a Blue one for a while and sold it when I started playing more acoustic. Sold new if I recall for 1500 or so usually sell now for about half that.

ksdaddy
There was a green one on ebay a couple years ago I had the hots for but it was just lust. I'm a sucker for translucent green over nice maple. I don't have much use for plugging in an acoustic though, so it waned.
