Bluemoon
Dropped one in my standard this weekend. Pretty good. I don't think the tone improvement was that dramatic...I already had paper in oil caps in there. But the pots are way better. The volume taper works much better. The guitar also is a lot quieter. The volume taper works much better. The guitar also is a lot quieter. That was my experience exactly since I had replaced the caps previously as well. After band rehearsal last night I decided I need a kit for my gold top also. It sounds muffled compared to me now compared to the LP with the RS kit - especially when I turn down a volume pot. Tim Plains
Not that dramatic but an improvement? RS pots are more noticeable when you put them in a historic. Your pots at least had a taper to begin with.
