Laaz Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 It's there but hard to see. When enhanced with photoshop you can see it. Also every counterfeit SG I have seen has the wrong number of screws on the pickguard. This look right. Font for serial looks correct for 90's as well. What you want to look for if your going to see it in person, is the control cavity, electronics and truss rod. Also see if you can see a line on the back of the headstock where the wings are glued on. It's really hard to see on solid finish Blackie had a good post in the SG section of some counterfeits.
