geomcnasty
Ok I just bought a 2004 Hummingbird that is basically new never used and in perfect condition. I was wondering what the nut & saddle were made of. I really can't find any info on these. Any help would be great. Thanks Geo
eds111
My 2001 Hummingbird and 2004 Blues King have a Tusq (or some other synthetic material) for the nut and saddle. They are not bone.
ajsc
I have 2 2005 gibby's the AJ short scale came with both bone nut,& saddle, the J-45 came with bone nut, & tusq saddle. I believe, it was Rar, who explained that if the saddle is compensated it's tusq, if it's not it's bone. I'm pretty sure all Gibsons come with bone nut?? Why not call Gibson, & ask them?
