deepblue
At long last I got some time tonight to start my Stratocaster project. I have been looking forward to this for weeks. I bought a light weight (3.9lbs) Alder body in vintage white from Warmoth. Five minutes....I said FIVE minutes into the assembly I was stopped dead in my tracks. The six screws that hold on the vintage bridge in place had poked through into the tremolo cavity!...I am not a happy camper! I am using all Fender USA parts, from my old John Mayer Strat, so I know they are the real deal. The only way those screws should be poking through are if the body is a thinner Fender Squire body. I have written to Warmoth and want a full refund or exchange. I understand mistakes happen and I will give them a chance to make it right, but MAN is that a piss off! Thoughts? Blackie
Yes get your money back, but could you have used different screws ? and were the screws used in the exact same fender routed body ?

I asked this question to Warmoth before I bought it... Is this a full sized American Strat body, and is it first rate...in other words not B stock?" I was assured its top shelf. NeoConMan
I've done very little dealing with Warmoth, but I always understood them to be good for fixing issues.
