fyxias
I'm checking for my sister because she doesn't have internet access. I don't have pictures. Just what she told me was the model or serial number from the neck of the guitar. The number is: 5203 13. She said that it didn't say made in the USA or anything like that. I don't think she is looking to sell it. I think she is just looking to find out the age. This is a guitar that was our father's and will go to my nephew. She thinks it is a rue paul or Les Paul. Some kind of Paul. Thanks for any help.
NeoConMan
Email Gibson Customer Service with any details you can get from the guitar, especially if it's older. With no pics, that serial number is hard to use precisely.
fyxias
Thanks NeoConMan. I was afraid she had not told me enough info. I'm going to find the customer serv number and call her and tell her to find out for her self.
NeoConMan
In the USA, call 800-444-2766 and dial 1 for customer service. Somebody's usually there 24/7. On the serial alone, they may be able to give you substantial details. Problem is, on the older stuff their records are pretty spotty. Sometimes a jackpot of info, other times not so much...
