Gilliangirl
Yay! We had a great time! Our vocal ranges coincide really well, which is great, and he LOVES Caleb Meyer and some other GW songs that I played for him, so we're definitely on a roll. We've got a list of songs we're going to perfect so will be meeting every Saturday afternoon to work on them. He's finally found someone who is committed to doing songs well (me) and I've finally found my Dave Rawlings lol! Even after playing for only 5 minutes, we both could hear the potential. Yay!! milod
karen... good luck. I think it's easier to find a "good" girl/boy friend than somebody one can work well with in music. I wish that were a joke, but it ain't. m

I think it was Bono who said that being in a band is a bit like being married..... lots of issues around ego, emotions, power and control, among other things. It takes work. Gilliangirl
OWF and Tommy, I would like to bring him around the forum but he's just contacted me to tell me he can't make the Saturday schedule anymore, so we've already got some challenges.
