GuitarJunkie
Posted this at ETSG as well, but there's a little more traffic here lately. One of the shops where I get my used stuff called me today. They're getting in a used SG Supreme with P90s and putting it aside for me to check out. I've only ever seen these in the sunburst finish. Were they ever available in anything like the trans-black or trans-blue like the humbucker equipped Supremes? Also, an old Gibson spec sheet lists the pick-ups as "P90A". I know this means alnico, but do you know if they are alnico 2 or alnico 5? Assuming it's in better than average condition, what's a decent price? Thanks for any help. NeoConMan
I don't know a thing about the guitar, but it SOUNDS cool.... I love P-90's. 24 frets, right? Good luck with it!

The reason I asked about finishes is because if I knew the P90 version had also been available in the other finishes, I'd hold out and wait to track down another one. GuitarJunkie
Saw it today. Didn't really do it for me. I passed on it.
veeman
That was the only color for the P90's. All the others had full humbuckers.

GuitarJunkie
It sounds weird saying this, but that guitar needs a small pickguard.
