bobp1984
Hi there I'm new here so forgive me if i've posted in the wrong place or the true Gibson headz are offended by my question regarding a copy. I've just started working in a music shop in London and I seem to be the only guitar player, so I was asked to play some of the guitars in the shop. Theres this little Stagg Gibson copy that loads of customers have expressed an interest in ( god knows why it makes me want to puke every time I look at it!!). However it has string buzz on the B, I've loostened the string and cleared the slot in the nut with a flat head screwdriver but it hasn't cured it. I've also tryed adjusting the bridge but no joy. If someone could suggest some potential alternative solutions that would be grand! Many thanks in advance Bob
LeftyF
Depends on why it's buzzing and where. Could be anything from the nut slot being cut too low to needing a truss rod adjustment.
StijnV
we're not offended, but since it's a Gibson forum, it's not really appropriate, don't you think?? jamman
Maybe he'll keep using that screwdriver on that guitar untill it's really fixed . that should work .... just fine. ha ha . And if that don't work .... use a bigger hammer. !!!!!

bucketbot
Does it buzz only when fretted at certain places on the neck? If so where? Or does it happen only when played open strings?
