TommyK
I've been seeing these M&M Mars ads for new Pretzel M&Ms. The story plays out that the twisted pretzel is to be inserted into the standard M&M. They even show an X-ray of the twisted pretzel inside the M&M. Here's the part that ticks me off. I got a bag of the Pretzel M&Ms and the pretzel is NOT TWISTED AT ALL! [angry] It's just a ball shaped pretzel. [angry] [angry] I demand satisfaction! Who.. uh, Whom do I sue? [angry] It's false advertising, I tells ya! cabba2203
Yeah, I was disappointed as well. I guess the M&M would lose it's classic shape if they used a real twisted pretzel. Either that or give you a single large M&M.
dROK83
I tried these before I ever saw the commercial, and they were pretty good. The combo of a salted pretzel covered in chocolate with a hard candy shell is a nice combo. I was surprised that they showed a twisted pretzel in the commercial, but I guess a pretzel ball would'nt have had the same affect.
cabba2203
If you just gotta have a twisted pretzel in your candy, they are in the Take5 bar. Not too bad, a bit "busy" for my tastes but not bad.
dROK83
Damn chocolate, pretzels, caramel, peanuts, AND peanut butter? that sounds like the greatest candy bar ever.
Kimbabig
Thanks, now I'll know not to try them.
FirstMeasure
I'm sorry, but Pretzels shouldn't have anything sweet on them at all, unless their Soft Pretzels with Cinnamon and Sugar. Even then they're better with Cheese Sauce instead.
Jantha
I can understand your frustration. However, the shape of a pretzel is instantly recognizable. I'm guessing that's why they used it. What exactly would you think was going in your m&m if the ad had a two legged ball with white spots?
TommyK
"Two legged ball with white spots"? I ain't sayin'. The mods have been particularly trigger happy of late.
