Riffster Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 JJs are very consistent tubes and work well in a lot of amps hence they get good reviews for the most part but they are not necessarily the best. Since I put JJs in my Mesa I know that there is something missing, crunch and clarity went down by about 5%...minimal but it is the nuances that matter when you have a good amp.
