It looks great and i heard its good for it price but the only thing i wonder is why doesn't the Dot have a dot fretboard ;)

Yes I wonder that as well, I think the dots are on the side of the fretboard. Anyway nice guitar for the price. They sell for £229 in the u.k.

Well, it's based on the Epiphone Dot, which does have fretboard dots, but it's the 'Studio' version, so the dots get deleted. Meh.

I played a Dot Studio a while back and thought it was quite nice...almost took it home with me.

I have one, and I love it. It's probably the only Epi I own that I kep the stock pickups in. I personally hate the plain worn brown finish, though (mine's the vintage sunburst). I especially like the big ol' baseball bat neck it has, compared to all my other epiphones.

 

If I remember correctly, they had ones that came in a white finish. I'd love to get my hands on one of those and put gold hardware on it.

If you shop around you can get the Dot Studios for around £149.

 

£229 will buy you the Dot.
