tulsaslim
Looked again last night & did see the centerblock so it's a semi. It makes sense since they're calling it a Riviera instead of a Casino. Man, those P-90s give it a totally different tone than any of my Dots. I'm really glad I bought it. Think 'The One I Love' by R.E.M. to get an idea of the tone this geet has.

Goldie
So, does the center pickup get in the way?
charlie brown
So' date=' does the center pickup get in the way?[/quote'] Ummm, not really! It's more getting used to it being there, for me, anway. But, I don't find it "in the way," any more than a "Strat" middle pick-up is. Looks (IS) wider, than a Strat pick-up, etc...but it's a bit lower too, than the neck or bridge pickups. I lowered the action (it wasn't bad...I just wanted it as low as I could without buzzing)...and because I did that, I had to lower the poll screws on the bridge pick-up (3 full turns) and on the neck pickup (2 full turns), but actually raised the poll screws, on the middle pick-up about 2 turns. They seem nicely balanced in volume, and very "round" and "twangy" in tone. When pushed, a lovely "Growl," as well. CB
