BBird
I picked up one of the Elitist Byrdlands (at the old price) -- I could not be more pleased with this instrument. Folks, if you have the spank in the bank, I urge you to snap one up. They are now more than $200 less than before! Discussion: http://forums.epiphone.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=5079 MF Elitist Byrdland: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Elitist-Byrdland-Guitar?sku=518441

BBird
I received it in late September. See the forum link in my original post.
JefferySmith
The Byrdland is a thing to behold. I hold mine in greater awe than any other guitar I own or have ever owned. If you don't think you'll like the sound, buy a better amp. When the current stock of Epiphone Byrdlands is gone, the only short scale guitars out there will be a Rickenbacker 325 (don't even think about the price no less the year you'll have to wait to get one), or a Fender Jaguar (Let's go surfin' now, everyone is learnin' how, come on and safari with meeeeeee). And the Jaguar is long scale compared to the Byrdland.
Just Strum
I received it in late September. See the forum link in my original post. Have you tried to get the difference in what you paid and what they are selling for now? I purchased a G400 from M123 and about 43 days later they reduced the price by $75. I sent them an e-mail and told them I found a price lower than what I paid and informed them it was their price that was lower. In less than a week I had a check from them for $75. It never hurts to give it a shot.

JefferySmith
Jeffery' date=' you a Beach Boy fan?[/quote']I'm afraid that, like all other AM radio music from the 1960's, it is permanently embedded in my long term memory. For such a clean cute group of nice boys, they sure fell apart later in life. The only Wilson who is still living seems totally out of it.
