Just Strum Posted November 1, 2008 Share Posted November 1, 2008 I like the look of the Sherry pick guard and wanted one for my Dot. I was able to get one from Suho and installed it the other day. The bracket that connects to from the pg to the guitar is located slightly different on the the Sherry pg and the pick ups on the Dot are spaced about a 1/16th of an inch closer together. I used a Dremel on the spacing problem, taking the material off of the pg. I drilled another hole in the body of the Dot to line up the bracket properly. I was going to drill a hole in the pg, but since I am never going to sell this guitar, the additional hole in the body of the guitar doesn't bother me. I've been playing the guitar most of last night and today, so it has a lot of finger prints on it, but I like the little different look it gives it. The extra wide edging on the pg (as compared to the original pg) goes well with the guitars binding and the clear pg goes well with the knobs.
