iansmitchell
A really crappy humbucker. store.guitarfetish.com Get a loudmouth, get two push/pull 500k pots, wire it for split capabilities, ask jay(owner of guitarfetish) if you have any questions. Best bang-for-the-rupee anyone can realize on any single 'buckered guitar. Metal? No help here except that ian's lead is a good one and a money saver. Welcome to the forum metalman 89! BTW I recently tested one of EPI's new EE series LP Jr.'s and found the workmanship was great overall. Good luck with yours. Hit every BLUE NOTE baaaby..., I'm going to play on:-"
charlie brown
ok ill check it out cause im wanting something that doesnt sound like sh*t. what would you guys prefer?? Metalman...if you're anywhere close to Edmond, go see Bob Warner, at Warner's Guitar Shop. 203 East Ayers (405) 844-9990. Does good work...not "cheap," but reasonable. Does great set-ups, too... what he calls "optimization!" Kind of a super set-up! But he also does the "normal" version, too. Also... he can wind you any kind of Humbucker you want, to your specific needs/requirements. Can do all the wiring, etc. too...IF you don't want to mess with it. But, if you're cool with doing it all yourself, then GFS Hummer's will be just fine! CB
