Mattt0192
Anyone think this is a fair deal? I don't know much about 90's epiphones http://atlanta.craigslist.org/msg/1013830560.html
JefferySmith
It seems a bit pricey for a used Sheraton.
LHC- Jr.
According to the "Vintage Guitar Price Guide" from 2008, the price for this one should run between 450 and 525. If you like the guitar, offer him 400. Maybe he'll make an acceptable counteroffer. IMO 550 is too much...
TWANG
recently set up should have meant he then learned if the pots were bad, or dirty. So I wonder who set it up. He's probably going by recent store price, which is higher now. So I think it's a tad spendy, but not much. That's close to the year I got mine... and I bought it new. So I can say these sheris have a long life. it's a lot of guitar, even for 550.00. TWANG
fenrirlupus
you might be able to get it for $414.75... but it would sorta be cheating... http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bodies,_necks,_wood/Electric_guitar:_Necks/Replacement_Neck_for_Tele_Guitar.html http://www.music123.com/Squier-by-Fender-Vintage-Modified-Telecaster-Thinline-Electric-Guitar-514048-i1177378.Music123 he'd consider a telecaster thinline reissue... well... replace the squier neck with the stewmac neck, tell him about the neck, but don't tell him it's a squier. ok, so I'm not being serious, but hey, seymour duncan p-ups and everything... he might fall for it... i just wouldn't suggest that because if he ever found out... could mean trouble... Mugatu
Converting that to sterling, it's pretty close to a fair price. Nice guitar, but then I would say that, it's identical to mine! Of course, the US market is different to the UK one, so a fair price here may not necessarily be a fair one there. Why not make him a decent offer, he can only say no. It's a nice instrument.
