And that means some nice alnico humbucks... from higher priced models.. that a lot of people are happy to keep. I think you can upgrade a speciall II and it can be worth it. But do shop around.. Both previous suggestions are great ideas. Guitar Fetish, Ebay or even some local shops with used parts might have something cheap and fun. Look around and see what you find.
