Mattt0192
What would be a simple way for me to record high quality tracks for my band? I don't have any experience with recording so i need something EASY!
Lord Summerisle
Matt, we had a thread on this topic quite recently. You may find some good answers in there: http://forums.epiphone.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=9099
TWANG
I'm gonna put in a vote for tape.. tascams go pretty cheap.. aren't difficult to find service for.. and are about as easy as you can get. though there are a couple of four track digital machines that are simple and cheap.. But I dig tape. *s* TWANG

Dave
You can go with a DAW, which will require an interface to get the audio into the computer or you can use an outboard studio recorder. Over the course of a number of years, I have purchased a Tascam 4 track tape, a Tascam 8 track digital, and a Korg D3200 32 track digital. I find the digital units more versatile because you can pick them up and carry them where you need to record. A computer and DAW software is a home recording device unless you have a high end laptop. My Tascam 8 track digital recorder is not being used now that I have the 32 track. PM me if you are interested, Matt. It might be what you need. tulsaslim
Hey Dave- I, too, have the 8-track Tascam digital DPFX-1 & I'm pretty happy with it. It's easy to use & records pretty good-sounding tracks but I'm Jonesing for one of those Korg 32-track machines. How does it compare to the Tascam & how does it's drum machine work?
