you multi task while building up a vj..

and forget to put on the ground to the board..

and fire it up?

yes. it was me. #-o #-o #-o

I got it all done, but now I want to know if I should fire it back up.. or do some specific, or general trouble shooting first.

:) #-o:-k

Twang did you have a front star ground too or just the rear? In most of the modded versions with a turret/eyelet board the preamp stuff is grounded on thr front and the power amp is grounded on the rear. if you had at least one of those connected and you powered up for a short time ...check your fuses and cross your fingers and connect the other ground and I bet you'll be OK!:-k

It was a black pcb stock board. no mods except to it.

so no ground!

I think I'll go ahead though. I tested for everything and it seems ok.. was only on about ten seconds...

in fact, the noise could have been a faulty solder joint... I'd just done the mods..

so thanks and yah fingers crossed..

I swear from now on.. one thing at a time!!
