Identify my LP??

Recommended Posts

Hi all-

I bought a used Les Paul on craigslist, but I can't figure out what model it is from the headstock. Serial has it as Unsung Feb 1997 unit# 0050. Picture of the headstock is as my avatar--its mirror imaged (taken with my webcam). As you can see, it only has the Epiphone across the top, and no "Les Paul" signature of any kind. Is this a counterfeit?

Thanks!!

Any pix you are able to post of complete front and back

would be of great value in ID-ing the git model. Worst case,

if unable to use image hosting site, just post pic of front of

git as avatar, then describe how neck is attached - as Hungrycat

has mentioned - bolt on, or set/glued neck?

Is there anything bad about a late 1990s 100? It plays just fine' date=' seems to have almost never been used...[/quote']

Nothing wrong at all - the wood has had years to

settle in, Yours is Korean made, and if you LIKE the

way it plays, all is good! Note headstock in pics that

follow, Gits made in Korea, late 1990s...

It's an absolute piece of crap and must be sent to me immediately so that I may deal with it directly and personnally!!

Congrats on the guitar! Had the pleasure of meeting an LP-100 recently, and enjoyed it greatly!
