Hungrycat
Nice.I say the LP needs a black ring and switch tip, but I'm anal-retentive. Bugs the hell out of me when the plastics don't match.

matiac
Showoff. Just kidding, that Lester looks nice, I gotta try to get a new group shot of all 4 of my guitars (down from 7...damned economy).
StreakyPete
Nice! C'est tres formibluddydable Lester looking the biz now alright. Seeing the viola bass takes me back to when 'I were but a lad' and our bass player bought & sold not one, but two Hofner violin basses for £25 a pop!! Mind you, he spent the £50 on a Vox Phantom... Dunno what happened to that.. Maybe it's still up in his loft btw, the thread title made me wonder if a band had come up against a particularly unappreciative NRA audience

Maybe it's still up in his loft [/quote'] My 2nd ever bass (circa 1974) was an Ibanez 'Hofner Beatle Bass' copy... & I have often thought that I would love to have her back! I played it through a 50watt 'Coronet' Bass Combo that, after it literally rolled down the garage band driveway, used to pick up the local 'easy listening' AM radio station, so I don't think I REALLY appreciated the full potential of her way back then ! eggmuffins
