rick parfitt les paul special?

Recommended Posts

I may be wrong but that looks like a Gibson Les Paul Junior.

You're correct.

About being wrong.

It's a Les Paul Special. It looks like a sunburst, making it a 1975 reissue (or later). A single-cut, at that. The "official" name was Les Paul Special 55, reissued in its original 1955 design (rather than the double-cut that was introduced in 1958.

Dont know jack about that except:

I was in the 'Quo Army'[blush] ...

They were partially responsible for some of the most fun I've ever had.[crying]...

& that song still gets me rockin'[biggrin]

But I will 'Hold My Head Up'

PS: Alan Lancaster immigrated to Oz & used to front up with a rotating roster pub outfit called 'The Party Boys'

IRONIC TRAGEDY: A crappy supermarket chain has just started using 'Down Down' as their price message jingle.

SOLEMN OATH: I will never shop in that supermarket chain again!
