tpurgatoryt Posted July 6, 2010 Share Posted July 6, 2010 The otherday i was looking at a Epi LP special 2 in a wine red colour, it was alot nicer looking then all the other ones thats for sure. i was thinking that a pair of chrome humbuckers or humbucker cover and a LP pickguard would compliment it nicely. the thing is with the pickguard, would it fit on? the special 2 has only 2 knobs, 1 volume 1 tone, and there a bit higher up then the normal LP's four knobs, so cause of that would it not fit ? Link follows, I actually like the look of the Pickguard, just requires a small, circular cut-out at the Volume pot, which is HIDDEN by the Knob... (see post #7, Wine colored Special II).
