RGaskill
I'm looking to buy a Lefty Spirit GT-Pro Deluxe off of musicians friend in the very near future and noticed they sell both calibrated and standard (non-calibrated) double ball strings and was wondering which ones I would need to buy and what the differences between them are. Thanks in advance.
r2bflash
For the R-Trem you use the (non-calibrated) strings. The calibrated are for the TransTrem.

headlessguitar
You will have a lot more string options if you pick up a string adapter. they are $39 at www.guitarsend.com
happyrick
Hi: Right now there is a beautiful tobacco burst LEFT HANDED Spriit Deluxe GU for $360 on ebay, which seems like a good deal because 2 other people are selling the right handed version of the same guitar for $670. Here is the link. Spirit Deluxe GU left hand I second that regarding the string adapter. It's well worth the $39 and will pay for itself and decrease the hassle of getting double barrel strings for the rtrem system.
jerichooo
Hi people I have to buy a new set of non calibred strings for my guitar (R-trem), but I was wondering if the ghs string were good or if the original non calibred strings by steinberger were worth the higher price. Eagle
Calibrated strings are ONLY needed for the transtrem to work properly.
