nothinglikesun
Quite a few reviews at Gibson and elsewhere state that Joan Jett Melody Makers have frets that are shredding fingers. Does anyone know if the regular Melody Maker has this unfortunate trait? Thank-you.
duane v
No such issue with my JJ MM. Certainly I always have my frets dressed to my liking, but with any of the recent Gibson purchases, I was never cut.

retrosurfer1959
I have a JJ and a regular MM and never noticed a issue with the frets - but then again after 30 years of playing I'm not sure what it would take to cut through my calluses. G McBride
I picked up a JJ white the other day and did not notice any issues when I played it.
charlie brown
I picked up a JJ white the other day and did not notice any issues when I played it. Oh, stop reminding me...I'm still pissed, that you got that, instead of ME! LOL (Just kidding) By the way, did you get the "signatures" off the body? G McBride
Just finished playing mine for about an hour and no issues at all. I have not gotten the signatures off of the guitar. Might give up on that and make up a story to go with them instead.
