chase1410
Hey guys, im curious if anyone out there use's buffers with there pedals? I know there are alot of pedal buffers on the market, stating they will take away any tone loss caused by long cables, and multiple effects..Does anyone have any expierence with these? I have a BBE Sonic Maximizer, but that really isnt a buffer.
46 and 2
To be honest I had not heard of one until I read your post. Do you mean a power buffer? Like a buffered power strip? Like a Furman power conditioner?
Riffster
A lot of pedals have a buffer, for example Boss pedals have a very non-instrusive buffer IMO. Some of the other pedals on your board may benefit from having a buffer some may not. It is a complicated equation, as long as you like your sound buffer or not buffer does not matter. Thundergod
Lots of pros use them. I think Brian May does. I read somewhere an interview with the guy who builds them up for him, said he built them for most of the artists we know. I have never needed one, don't think I would use one.
