Whitmore Willy
ReyDeLosBandidos, Welcome to the forum. Never had a chance to play the Les Paul ES. Always thought they looked kind of classy. Maybe they just sounded too much like a Dot. Don't know. So what are you playing these days? Willy

Happy hunting for a Noel Knock-Off...
Supersonic
I'm a huge Noel fan (I know no one would have ever guessed that from my profile pic or my user name ), but I've never been a big fan of the Union Jack Supernova. It's just not...right. Noel's "real" union jack guitar was a Sheraton with mini humbuckers and a frequensator tailpiece. It basically looks exactly like the Sheraton that the user AS90 on here has, but with the custom paint job (which is on the sides and back of the "real" one I believe and not just the top like the Supernova). I wish they would have made a reproduction of the real thing even if it meant paying way more money.
ReyDeLosBandidos
I have seen the other guitars... but I think that Sheraton / Supernova Union Jack is specially nice. And the Les Paul ES ... it's the same, absolutely nice guitar. Now epiphone is doing nice guitars with emg's, gibson pickups, floyd rose... please LES PAUL ES back now !!! The Supernova is more a Sheraton II than the Sheraton Noel actually played (he had a sunburst one as well). I would certainly pay a couple of hundred extra bucks for an Elitist Sheraton with the frequensator and a Union Jack paint job.
AS90
The Supernova is nothing special, sounds and plays like a Dot.
ReyDeLosBandidos
In this case, the most important thing is the union jack, the design, you can buy a sheraton but It's no so nice... I'm from Spain, but I Like it !
Sjael
GFS make a Les Paul ES-alike. It's obviously not a perfect LP copy, but it comes in a heck of a lot more colors than Epi ever made them in. <_<
