BigKahune
I've never seen a 12 fret SJ-200. . . Interesting. Check it at Mandolin Brothers - http://www.mandoweb.com/Instruments/Gibson-Special+Edition+SJ-200+12-fret/1828.aspx < * no affiliation * >
tvguit
Ooooooo nice find Bigkahune. I wonder if the shop that CE got his 12 fret SJ from might get one too! Then I could go play it (near my house). The back doesn't look that figured (I'm a sucker for some flame maple) but the neck.......look at that neck. Beautiful. I'm still deciding on the Paua inlays. I think I like them but it doesn't really conform to "tradition." Either way that thing is sweet!
Buc McMaster
Wow. What a fine looking guitar! Is the 12-fret version short scale?
drathbun
I bet that thing is a cannon!
KL
It looks weird to me having that huge body with that neck. Probably sounds great. J-200's are just to big for me to be comfortable with. I prefer J-185's.
