LarryUK
I went, I saw, He conquered. He was really good. I thought I'd be bored with it being instrumental. But I wasn't. He had a good set. Nice screen behind. Good sound. Job done! As I said before. Don't write them off 'til you've seen them live. Plus....Anyone that can pull off a dayglo orange Ibanez is ok by me. GibSinCity
He's incredible. Versatile if nothing else. I've seen him many times. Since 1987 just prior to Surfin' With The Alien's release, to the recent Chickenfoot tour. He can do it all. He was Mick Jagger's guitarist in 1988. Played for Deep Purple in 1994. He's worked with Alice Cooper, Blue Oyster Cult, even Spinal Tap. IMO the albums "Surfin'" & "Flying In A Blue Dream" capture that energy you get from an artist who has an album or two under their belt and is just hitting their stride. At a point in their career when they don't have time to think too much about it. Just play! My guess is he'll be melting faces and blowing minds for some time to come. I would love to see a G3 Tour with, Jeff Beck & Joe Bonamassa.
