chrisd471
I was looking into getting the Limited Ed. Special Run Casino w/Bigsby. Does anyone know if these are still available or would it have to be special ordered? I've been looking all over the net for one and so far have been unable to find one. The only one I have seen was the Limited ed. run in 2006/2007 that was released during NAMM that year but none since and it seems to have been discontinued. Any info would be appreciated. Also If anyone could give me any info as to what one might cost. Thanks.

supernova1281734074
It's not in the current Epiphone catalogue, as was a ltd edition for 2006/07. It's been discontinued. In Europe, www.thomann.de had them recently for £499 - but no longer have them/did stock them as did dawsons @ liverpool for £499.00 at end of August 2010, now sold. Ebay's your bestbet i guess John
amx05462
adding a bigsby is very easy why not just put one on yourself.
chrisd471
adding a bigsby is very easy why not just put one on yourself. I have considered installing one myself. Just wondering what the difference would be having one factory installed.

The_Buffalo
Don't know where you are, but I have recently seen them in the Bloor St. Long & McQuade, in Toronto, Canada.

I'm in New York so it'd be a little far for me. Checked on their website and didn't see one available. Thanks for the reply.

I was just going to link this thread to that guit on eBay and saw it was sold. Good for you, it looks like it's in great condition and the price was very fair. E.M. Shorts has a great reputation. Congrats!

I thought that the Casino's with the Bigsby's were discontinued. Not bad though for $629 + Shipping.
LongMan
I thought that the Casino's with the Bigsby's were discontinued. They probably were. I guess the current ones are a new limited run. You can still get them from stock in Germany: http://www.musicstore.com:80/en_EN/EUR/Guitars/Semi-acoustic-guitars/Epiphone-Casino-Ltd-Edition-VS-Bigsby-Vintage-Sunburst/art-GIT0017660-

LongMan
I just find it strange that these are still available all over Europe but can't be found anywhere here. Seems Epiphone does ship some limited runs to certain regions, or sometimes to certain dealers only. Some time ago I bought a Riviera LE cherry with mini humbuckers, neat guitar that just looks like the 60s original item. This was sold in Europe exclusively as far as I know (at least some forum members complained it wasn't available somewhere else :) ). Maybe it's the same with the Bigsby Casino. On the other hand I saw an Epiphone ES-335 teaburst with the original pick guard shape on a canadian dealers site. This one isn't available in Europe. There are also some models that are available in the U.S. only.

Sancho Panza
It feels like i already know the answer, but they DON'T make them for left-handed players also? I have searched but never found one, with or without a Bigsby doesn't really matter to me, i just want the guitar.
brianh
They made them alright, but finding one is another story: You might try contacting some of the lefty-specialty stores, if anyone would know how to get a hold of a lefty Casino, it would be them: http://www.jerrysleftyguitars.com/epiphone-guitars/epiphone-casino-lefty.html http://www.southpawguitars.com/ http://adirondackguitar.com/lefty/LHMenu.htm http://panchosleftys.com/
