bluesguitar65
There seems to be a buzz on this 20 watt, 1x12 all tube combo. It is designed by none other than amp guru Mike Soldano. Its only $299 and it sounds great on youtube, but I haven't gone to my local GC to demo it yet. What are your opinions for those who have? I seem to have a GAS for this amp at the moment. Im thinking it has that nice dirty tone to compliment the my Tribute 50s les paul with P90s. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4SSGIu0AKs
Silenced Fred
If you want dirty sounds, go for it. It does some super sweet gain.

cabba2203
I own one - I like it. My first impression was that it was much better constructed than I assumed it would be. The control pots aren't crappy feeling when you turn them, it's actually a quality build. The sound is great for a single ch combo. Meaning, you don't have a dedicated clean circuit, so it doesn't get chimey clean - more like a Marshall "clean". I get a nice rock tone direct into it to a crunching metal tone when I push it with a overdrive, compression and some delay. I feel I got my money's worth. damian
Hey !! I just got one too. As my signature shows, I didn't need one, but I collect amps....I like it a lot. It does what it says it does, and as cabba2203 says, it's a good amp. $299.00, can't be beat..... It's not a super botique amp, but it's a fine addition to any collection.....If you get bored, check out '65' amps; REAL nice amps; would fit your style great; seen your videos, you're a bit of a purest in style... ( Many folks don't seem to favor those 50s tributes w P-90s, I'd love one, or two !! )
bluesguitar65
Well, I went ahead and ordered one from AMS. Hell, $299 for a tube amp and designed by Mike Soldano can't be bad. Hopefully, It will arrive by the end of the week, so I can play with it over the weekend. Here are some videos that really was a selling point to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM9CsEfXo3I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GM5UPVsrH18
