The clean tone is really nice, if you consider tone+weight+size+looks+price of this amp vs the roland JC120 it beats the JC120 in every way but tone and looks (I think both look really cool). The JC120 has better tone (and has chorus/vibrato, nice feature) but costs 3 times more and is huge. OD? Well it's not really an OD... sounds like light solid state distortion, BUT it responds to volume changes on the guitar nicely (you can set the gain at 10 and lower the guitar's volume and you'll get sparkly cleans).
