Shnate McDuanus
These guys were a favorite of mine during high school and I still think they're great. Really excellent, old school sound. Supposedly one of their songs is in a Guitar Hero game, but I haven't played any of them so... Anyway, check 'em out and see how you feel. I like how they're familiar in ways, but at the same time they don't really sound exactly like anything else I can think of.

ShredAstaire
Good old Canadian band....i can only take them in short doses due to their singers voice but they have a nice groove and make some good, fun rock music!!
surfpup
They had a brief run of popularity after "Lay Down" was in Guitar Hero. I have the album that was on, and I remember being surprised that some of my guitar students knew who they were. Then they explained guitar hero to me. cabba2203
Priestess rock, "Hello Master" was an awesome album! I've been a slacker, I still need to pick up "Prior to the Fire".

Gotta admit, I thought Prior to the Fire was better than Hello Master, although Hello Master did have some really great material. And I happen to love the singer's voice. Different strokes, different folks so on and so forth. :)
