Space Pup
I believe these are currently being made for Gibson overseas. Any one have one or played one, any opinions good or bad?.

kmartem
I've read that they are a good buy for a $700 mandolin.I played one at a store and it was quite nice.I was amazed at the price until I found out it was Chinese. I dont trust chinese acoustic instuments yet as I've seen a lot of trainwrecks on the walls of music stores. You can buy a used Breedlove for cheaper than that .I'm sorry that gibson took the name and is using it on an Asian instument because a have a pre Gibson Flatiron and I love it.
