saturn Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 I posted the official video for Old Crow Medicine Show's version of this song in DB Coopers Train Songs thread, but didn't want to hijack that thread for this. Apparently this song was originally written by Bob Dylan for that Billy The Kid movie, but kinda got re-worked for this version. I had never heard it before I started jammin with these guys. The video is horrible (sorry) but what I like about this footage is that it was the first song of the first gig we ever did. We only had 2 rehearsals and some of the guys were just starting to learn their instruments at this time (about 2 years ago). I think it turned out pretty good considering. Plus, to pat myself on the back a bit, I had not expected to take a solo in this song, but the other guy (with Strat) nods to me and I just pull one out of my a$$ . It's not too fancy but I kinda like what I did with it.
