got my nighthawk today- black finish- great guitar- well done epi!

i need a case. does anybody know which one will fit?

i want one that fits it snugly- i tried a few generic cases, and the guitar moves around inside- not the way i like to transport.

any ideas, or good places to buy a case, are welcome! [thumbup]

Jim R. said that it will fit in the standard Epiphone SG case.

My Gibson SG case looks exactly like my friends Gibson Nighthawk case in shape and contour -

sort of like a Hofner violin top meets SG bottom case look.

It is a very snug fit

but I can tell you right now it's a different build from the Epiphone SG case.

I've owned both.

I don't know, I'm just going by what the president of the company said on here.

He needs Dr. Will to prove it.

i tried a few different cases, but most are too loose-leaving the guitar moving around in the case.

maybe someone from epiphone knows for sure. right now it sits inside a cheap gig bag, but i hate to carry it around in it.

help please

  • 5 months later...

I just picked up a used brown Les Paul case for my Blues Hawk. The guitar moves around a little bit in the case..not a perfect fit but better protection than a gig bag. Placing a towel under the guitar a filling the void keeps the guitar from moving around..for $65 bucks it was hard to say no for real Gibson case!!!
