Epiphone also made a bass version called the EBM. It came in 4 and 5 string versions. There was also a 6 string version called the Expert. It was constructed a bit differently though, as it was a neck-thru with two jazz pickups and different electronics. It also had two truss rods to accommodate the wider neck.
