wilburst
Thanks but since I am a total noob that doesn't tell me that much... I've been looking around the graph tech website and the only tusq nut I could find with those measurements was listed as an accoustic nut... the 6116 but then I saw the one marked as an epiphone nut, the 6060 and since I've got an epiphone I'm confused... To clear things up further, I'm a noob at modding guitars and I'm used to the metric system so all this " stuf is making my brain melt... But still, thanks! And thank you for the welcome. RevGD Fr33ze
I have an Epi with a gibson tusq nut on it, it doesnt fit right as the depth is to shallow but it still works, so maybe you can find one that just not right yet it will still works. The only thing right with the tusq nut i used was its width, and obviously i had the action on the nut filed so it was playable. :)
Whitmore Willy
I'm on my way out the door so I'll explain later. Epi is normally 6060 There is trem = black tusq = synthetic ivory tusq XL= synthetic ivory impregnated with teflon = trem nut in white, sort of , kind of, I would still check specs as I do not positively know the measurements on the Wilshire. Epis are normally 1/4" thick Gibbys are 3/16" string spacing is different. They all need adjusting (they are all slightly large) If you don't know what you are doing, buy two. They are cheaper any place besides the Graphtech website....they prefer to deal with dealers in large quantities. Willy
