daveinspain
Can you play a Bigsby equipped guitar without throwing the guitar out of tune after using the tremolo? My Johnny A. has a Bigsby but I'm afraid of using it in a live situation...
damian
If the Bigsby stays in tune while practicing at home, it'll stay fairly well in tune live.... I find Bigsbys very stable....As stable as a non Bigsby guitar....This also seems to be the general consensus as well....( Guitars tend to go out of tune live anyways...) BigKahune
. I play a lot of trems - Maestro, Bigsby, Floyd - stable, especially when cared for correctly. Tips you may have heard - Lube at the nut slots and saddles - graphite, Big Bends Nut Sauce, etc. Locking tuners. If you put on new strings, make sure they're stretched in. manse
Hi - I have a ES-295 with a bigsby, which is rock solid when it comes to tuning stability. Mind you, I have got heavy strings on there (13's, with a covered 3rd)!!
