brannon67
Why is it that Most of the Gibsons do not have 2 strap buttons. I love Gibsons and Epis but what a pain in the butt. I had to buy one of those Martin strap button things that slip on the headstock. I feel like such a freaking folk player now, its not even funny. Save me, ****.... Gary622
Agreed, but see the thread on strap buttons on masterbilts. Not a difficult or expensive add-on.
TommyK
Don't agonize over it. We're pretty good folks. Get it "Folks".
dhanners623
They probably only have the one strap button (on the butt of the guitar) because the location of the other one is often a matter of taste for the owner. And some owners, who attach the strap to the peghead, don't even want the second strap button. It's one of the reasons some of those new Guilds put me off; I don't like the strap buttons where they have them.
bonzoboy
My EJ 160 E John Lennon came with 2 strap buttons with the second on the heel of the neck.
gypsyseven
My EJ 160 E John Lennon came with 2 strap buttons with the second on the heel of the neck. Same with my Epi EJ-200....
TommyK
The top button on the rib, just to the bass side of the neck? That'd be my first choice. To each his own. Actually my first choice is laced to the headstock just above the nut.
