I was quite pleasantly surprised by the volume and tone, especially for the price (which i think was about $200). The Epiphone J-200 Artist also had a very nice tone. Again, I didn't play either for very long, so take my review with a grain of salt, but certainly, both are models worth auditioning further if you're considering a good entry-priced guitar.
