A New Finish for the Epi LP Traditional! NEW INFO!!!

Interesting fruit setup. What's the pups on this?

 

The specs for this guitar are as follows:

 

Korina body

Set mahogany neck

Rosewood fretboard

22 frets

D-shaped profile

Epiphone Alnico Classic Plus™ bridge humbucker

Epiphone Alnico Classic™ neck humbucker

2 volume each with coil-splitting, 2 volume controls

3-way pickup toggle switch

Nickel hardware

LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge/stopbar tailpiece

Grover 14:1 tuners

Polyurethane finish

I played the Korina LP at the Colorado (Westminster) GC this weekend.... All I can say is: I will be mine someday. Oh yes. It will be mine.msp_wink.gif

Too bad I didn't have the fundage to take advantage of the killer GC Birthday sale!

 

I love how they left the back with the natural satin wood finish (non-glossy). Gives you a greater appreciation for the korina wood finish and makes it that much more of a special finish. msp_thumbup.gif

I hear you, Heilly!

 

In fact, after a few days of playing that very guitar, I cancelled my lay-away on the 1960 Ver 2 Les Paul ... and brought the Korina Traditional home!

 

I've been working every day and rehersing for a pick-up gig during the evenings, so I haven't taken any pics. I'm off the next two days ... I promise a few review and some pics of my newest family member ... stay tuned!
