Dementee
I recently bought an Epiphone SG Special - my first electric guitar - and have recently come across another that I am considering buying. Odd this is the one I just found has volume and tone controls for each humbucker. All the Specials I've see to date have a single tone and volume control. I strongly suspect it is not a Special, although it is advertised as one. The headstock does not say "Special" as mine does. It is black and has a full bat wing pick guard that extends above the strings. Any thoughts on what style it might be are appreciated. I did some digging and thing it might be a G310. Thanks for the input.
RaSTuS
Hi and welcome to the forums, great bunch around here, I hope you like the place. Does it look something like this ??? it's probably a G-310 if so. EDIT: if you have some pics you could post it would make ID much easier.
brad1
Pics would be very nice. But we also need to know the year it was made. Can you tell us this? Or can you give us the serial #? Models have changed over the years. You say it does not say "Special" on the headstock. Can you tell us what it does say on the headstock? That would help as well.
