I thought that all WildKats came with chrome pickups, though. I wonder if yours have been previously swapped out? Was yours pre-owned? Next time you change your strings, pop out one of the pups and look at the backside of it, check for the manufacturer & model # if any. Wildkats came with Gold hardware too.. Pardon me, I guess I meant to say that I've never seen a WK come stock with black plastic pups. I was in the hunt for your "Tiger" Kat once upon a time, so I know about the goldies!
