adelaide aus
In 2008 a limited edition Les Paul BFG model with "Ink" finish was made. Only 200 world wide. Have an oppertunity to buy an unplayed, stored model in Australia for about AU $1300. Does anyone know what they play like, sound like? and is it worth buying? Do they have a returns policy? or is this an individual you are buying from?
adelaide aus
It was on ebay, but buyer didn't pay up, so no guarantee. have photo of serial no. on back of head stock, which i checked out with gibson, so it's legit. just not sure about it
Angellus
if it is legit and its a case of wether or not it feels an sounds right then i'd buy it, all else fails sell it on if you dont like it, just my oppinion you already got a BFG so apart from the pups and electronics it should feel pretty similiar
jmm555
If you already have a “2009 Gibson Zakk Wylde BFG Les Paul...Buzzsaw” Why buy an ink BFG? Sure I think its cool, the ink color is ok. 60’s slim neck? That was the original spec. The BFG finish is snake-reptile-scale like so (you know this) I think the latest “Gator-color” is even better, >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Imo Not sure about the BB3 in the bridge position I think the P90 neck sounds great! I’d like a regular 57 classic in the bridge?
thejay
BFGs are great, I recently sold my Ink model though. I wanted another model and gave up one of my BFGs (I also have a Trans Black). The black stayed as it was a gift from my wife, so Ink went. Amazing guitars though, awesome tone and great pickup combo.
