NGD! VSB Lennon Casino

Hey all,

I just picked up my new Lennon Casino in VSB. I must say that I'm really pleased with the fit and finish of the instrument and the great sound that I'm getting from it. It's a very well put together guitar and it shows that contrary to popular belief that quality guitars can come from China. I love this guitar!

I've been looking at this particular Casino on Sweetwater's web site and decided that I wanted it. I really like the fact that they show pictures of the actual guitar they have in stock. Since I only live about 140 miles away from Fort Wayne and it was a nice day I decided to see if I could drive up and pick it up. I called them up and the sales engineer I talked to said, "No problem. We'll give you a tour of the place too if you want to see it."

Road trip! The wife and I jumped in the car and were off. About 2 and half hours later, I was picking this baby up.

Long story short, Sweetwater is a great place to visit and the people there were very nice and professional. The place is on a nice campus that is a mixture of corporate office, warehouse, and a small retail store. The Sales Engineer that I spoke to, Troy, met us in the lobby of the corporate office where coincidentally they also have the retail store. He had the guitar ready and delivered it to me after having a bit of a chat with us. He repeated his offer to take us on a tour of the campus but since it was getting late in the day and it was raining in Fort Wayne, we decided to pass on it. Maybe next time.

All in all, I'm very happy with the guitar and the service I received from Sweetwater. Altogether, this was a very pleasant experience, even with the drive.

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure I won't be the first to request that you post pictures of your new guitar. We're all very "visual" people. Enjoy, I love my Casino, and I don't see how you couldn't love yours. Congratulations.

It's always a great thing these days when products/companies/people meet or exceed you expectations. Congrats on the Casino and welcome to the forum. Lot's of really nice folks here that are very helpful with questions and good advice! [thumbup]

I'm struggling with the G.A.S. for the 50th Aniv. Casino today myself. Don't need it at all but the Tan sure looks nice.
