KDRR
I got my 339 back yesterday. And the Jury's in. My Tech put on a Bone Nut and moved the E to E spacing. My 339 went from a good guitar to a great guitar. I originally took my 339 in because the nut was pinching the strings. He grooved it out some but the G was still locking up and after looking at the nut he thought the E to E spacing was off too. I told him that other 339 owners have complained about that. He gave my the old nut and I matched it up to the Bone nut I have on there now and I can see the difference. It`s a dream to play now and I don`t have to watch my attack on the high E. I am a Happy Man. The best $65 I`ve spent in a long time.

Aerial Man
Isnt it so amazing how much a good nut can make all the difference. Think of all the really nice guitars out there not being bought just because they are setup awful Get your saddles done too, and your action and eveything else set and it goes from great to unbelievable! vincentw
Someone sitting near Chet Atkins while he noodled on a guitar said, "That guitar sounds great!" Chet immediately put the guitar down and said, "How does it sound now?"
