j45nick
Both guitars look legit. I'm not a big fan of satin finish guitars. They usually sell used for a few hundred less than a comparable gloss finish model. A clean 2004 would sell for about $1800 or so in the US. The newer satin guitar would probably sell for a similar amount, or just a bit less. These Memphis-built ES 335's vary pretty wildly in quality, but they are fairly cheap. I would be curious to know why the apparently professional guitarsit selling the satin model is getting rid of it so soon after purchase. It should sell for about 20% less than he paid for it new, IMHO.
sherpa_man
i would love a gloss finished guitar but i cant seem to land one with what i have to spend, ill see how this one goes, if nothing comes of it ill hold out for a gloss one. Thanks for coming back to me.
badbluesplayer
The Satin model is a little different than most 335's. It has a Nashville bridge. I don't know why. That may be a good thing or a bad thing. I think it's a "value" model, where they downgrade something(s) to make it less expensive. Just be aware of the differences.
