Buc McMaster Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 Saturday I will visit my old friend Jimmy at Southpaw Guitars with my CJ165 in tow. I've been hankerin' for a new guitar lately, something a bit larger than the compact jumbo. Spoke with him yesterday and he says he has a very fine used Hummingbird (and a couple new ones as well) and a D18GE.......I intend to give them both a good work out and see what else he may have that suits me. I certainly want to stick with a short scale instrument and, having played rosewood guitars for many years now, I think it's time to make the switch to mahogany.
